Notes for making your chocolate mould

For the implementation of your moulds in the highest quality, we need a template of the motif or design as a digital vector file (PDF/EPS) in black and white, 3D file (.stl or .obj) or optionally also in min. 300dpi print quality. Please note that with vector files, white areas of your template will later be displayed raised and black areas deepened. If you do not have the template in suitable quality or in digital form, we will be happy to create or adapt the data for an additional charge.

In order for your motif or logo to be ideal on your new moulds, we recommend a minimum font size of approx. 3-4 mm (8-10 point) and a minimum line thickness of 0.3 mm.

Please note that our custom molds are goods that are produced according to your specifications and wishes for the respective order. This is therefore excluded from exchange or right of withdrawal. In addition, the customer is responsible for all copyright issues, such as the right to use logos or images for the materials provided by him.

Frequently asked questions

On this page you will find the answers to frequently asked questions. Is your question not included or would you like more information? Then we are of course also happy to help you by phone or e-mail.

What do you need to make an individual mould for chocolate, for example?

For the production of moulds, a draft in black and white of your logo or motif in min. 300 dpi (print quality) as EPS/PDF or 3D file (.stl or .obj) is required.

What material are the moulds made of?

We manufacture our moulds from PET-G or optionally also from silicone.

Can the moulds be used more than once?

Yes, the moulds can be used several times.

In which process are the moulds produced?

As our moulds are specially designed for small series (from as little as one mould), they are produced using deep-drawing technology. We do not offer an injection moulding process due to the generally small mould quantities and the associated high cost structure for our customers. The production of silicone moulds is also possible directly in our company.

Is there a way to test the quality of the moulds before I order?

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. That is why we will be happy to send you our sample moulds free of charge. Simply contact us for this purpose.

What is the maximum size for a motif?

Due to production reasons, we can produce a motif in a maximum size of 16 x 16 x 30 cm. Larger motifs are possible on request.

Are multiple cavities per mould possible?

Of course. We produce your moulds according to your wishes and specifications.

Is there a minimum order?

No, we already produce from one mould.

How long does the delivery take?

The delivery time depends on the quantity and special requests. As a rule, however, the delivery time is a few working days from receipt or release of your order. However, depending on our capacities and the delivery location, we can shorten the delivery time for an additional charge.

What are the costs?

The cost of your personalised moulds depends on a number of variables such as: the number of moulds and the difficulty of the motif. We will be happy to provide you with a customised quote.

Where is delivery possible?

We deliver worldwide.

What are cavities?
Cavities are used in chocolate moulds when one and the same motif is present several times on one mould. Instead of casting only one praline or bar, several objects are thus cast in a single pass.

How should I clean the plastic moulds or silicone moulds?
Please clean your new moulds thoroughly with lukewarm water before using them for the first time to remove any impurities from production. Avoid the use of dishwashing detergents in the process. Plastic moulds made of A- and Pet-G are temperature resistant up to max. 48 degrees, silicone moulds up to 200 degrees. Important: when using silicone molds with food, we recommend placing the mold in the oven at 200 degrees before first use and cleaning it afterwards.

What does “raised” mean for a textured sheets or chocopro motif sheets?
For production reasons, we produce the textured and motif sheets in such a way that logos and motifs are raised on the chocolate. For this reason, we do not require the template to be mirror-inverted, but exactly as the pattern or logo is in the original.
